Meet JBS Director of Missions Larry Greenley

Larry Greenley was born in Independence, Iowa. He grew up in the Waterloo, Iowa, area, then went on to college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he received a B.S. degree in Humanities (philosophy) and Science (molecular biology). Larry went on to two years of graduate studies in philosophy and psychology at the University of Iowa. He also studied American and European history on the graduate level for many years as a part-time student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Larry spent 24 years of his career in marketing and sales of scientific products for biological research labs. He joined JBS in 1996 as a Field Coordinator, then served as Director of Research from 2001 to 2004, Director of Marketing from 2004 to 2010, and is currently Director of Missions.
Although Larry lived most of his adult life in the Northern Virginia area near Washington, D.C., since 1998 he and his wife Rosalie have resided in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Fun Fact: Larry is known to love Diet Coke, even though he says, “My friends all say it’s going to kill me.”
