Michael joined the John Birch Society in 1995 and was a chapter leader for several years. Michael was raised in Fresno, California and has been on staff for 14 years in a variety of positions (He’s well traveled!). He was hired as a coordinator in 1998 for Tennessee and Arkansas. Since then he has been a single district coordinator in North Carolina, regional field director for the West Coast & Southern States, and now development officer for the Northeast and Midwest. Michael loves working for the Society and couldn’t imagine doing anything else: JBS members are absolutely “the finest body of men and women in the world!”
He’s been married to his wife Carol for 22 years and they have four children. His job would be virtually impossible without their support. Michael is a “heavy reader”, his particular interests being theology and history.
Fun Fact: Michael was a competitive road cyclist when he was younger and still rides his bike when he gest a chance. He’s done a number of century’s (100 mile rides) over the last few years. His favorite is the “Cap 2 Cap” from Richmond, VA to Williamsburg, VA and back.
